 Lady Azenor Dougall is one of the main characters in the book. She relies on Astrology to make matches for people and keep ahead of danger for herself and her family. She goes to warn a family of dire predictions. One of the younger brothers , Theo who makes glass for telescopes, she ends up having many interactions with throughout the story. The characters in the story do not have much depth and there are many characters with the two main stories. I can see the author having many stories with these two families. I found it hard to read because it´s boring and everything that happens is not a surprise. No romance can be so predictable, in order to be interesting there have to be real obstacles and an astrologer as the main character, more than that, seems an old maid with a delusional problem or paranoia.
Sorry but Jane Austen is still number 1. (
