The more I read in this series, the more I grow to enjoy the Hamilton family and their stories. This story is about Melissa Hamilton, the youngest in the family. Melissa had fled home when her father had his health crisis. Now after months of being gone, she has returned, pregnant, unmarried, and determined to make it on her own and show her family she has finally grown up. Richard McNeil, the family attorney, is the first to see her and offer her a place to live. As the back cover states, "With all those people in the McNeil household, is there time for romance between prodigal Melissa and newly rededicated Christian heartthrob Richard?"

It is a sweet romance and Richard's aunt Lettie was one of my favorite characters in this story. Loved the ending; it made me laugh out loud and smile, feeling good having read this story. Looking forward to the last book in this series next, 'Christmas Homecoming'. ( )
