( ) Not the best volume in my opinion, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Like most people I didn't really like the part were Matt and Chip cum in mid scene. I still find this book funny though. I like the Sailor Moon cum-ghost-angel. Reminded me of that anime girl in Archer, but even more x-rated. I honestly though about giving this title up last year, but I like the art still too much. And I'm interested to seeing were this story goes. Just when I thought this series couldn't get any weirder, it does. With tentacles. I really liked this volume, despite the several pages of the authors basically writing a conversation between themselves about a scene rather than trying to figure out how to actually write and draw the scene, which was kind of irritating. This volume also redeemed one of my earlier problems with the first volume, where Suzie basically judged and sex-shamed the porn store John was obsessed with. Ana and Suzie have it out (sort of -- see above comment on meta conversation between author and artist instead of the actual scene) and come to an agreement to try to be less judgey (Suzie), and more kind (Ana). There's also the introduction of an asexual character who can also access the Quiet, and the aforementioned tentacled cum-spirit. Yeah, they went there. I really want to find out what happens next. The Eisner-and Harvey-award winning raucous sex comedy that Time magazine called the Comic of the Year and Apple called "inappropriate for sale on iOS devices" returns in Sex Criminals V3: Three the Hard Way. So it turns out Jon and Suzie aren't alone, other people around the world, like them, freeze time when they climax. A self-appointed group wants to regulate and control them through fear and intimidation. Jon and Suzie are falling in love and want their freak flags to fly, but if they're going to fight back they can't do it alone. And really, isn't that a metaphor for the whole series? That we might all be alone but we're all alone together? I think so. If you read only one comic with a semen-demon in it this year, please make it Sex Criminals V3: Three the Hard Way.
