Through the centuries, Christians have declared the Bible to be the Word of God. But why? What foundation do Christians have for believing that the Bible contains the very words of the living God? In his first major book since Bloodlines, best-selling author and popular preacher John Piper makes the case for why it is not just reasonable but crucial that we view the Bible as absolutely perfect and totally reliable. The glory of God and the self-authenticating nature of Scripture
  JourneyPC | Sep 26, 2022 |
First of all, I love John Piper.

I'm afraid he's saying the same thing in all of his books. I don't recommend this to someone who has read at least one of Piper's book. Piper repeats the same thing over and over again in each chapter. I think, he should have finished it in 60 pages rather 200

His paragraph on, grasping a new reality in our Life made me think deeper. However, I wouldn't be able to thump that as something to share with someone. It goes into mysticism. He did make good thoughts about people who do not have time to read Scholarly textbooks.

Overall, he failed to establish what he intended to do.
Not worth the $ and time,
better watch his sermon. ( )
