The stories weren't that bad.. but they weren't particularly good. I would often forget where I'd left the book , and would pick up something else, because none of these stories were that compelling. I did finish the anthology, but by the end, I felt like there were some key concepts repeated over and over. I got really tired of a main character looking at a picture, or a doll, or a doll house, or something else, and suddenly finding themselves in that new setting, instead of the real world.
Typically, I'll find a new author or two that I like, in an anthology, and I'll look them up to see what else they wrote. In this one.. there was no one who fit that description. ( )

Decided I'm just never, ever going to finish this book. Started it last summer and had fun taking it with me for entertainment before movies in the park, but none of the stories were spectacular and I just never picked it back up again after getting about halfway through. ( )
