( ) Wonderland is a resort-style vacation destination that seems aimed at the middle class. It combines moderately luxurious accommodations with those horrible “jolly” let’s-all-play-a-game activities that make many of us retire to our rooms/cabins immediately. Then some extremely unpleasant “pranks” start happening. Why? Who has a grudge against Wonderland? While there are some enjoyable stock characters here, most of this one is a pretty inane entry for Blake’s Nigel Strangeways mysteries. There’s a good deal of snobbism and some truly unlikable characters. Just a so-so mystery, but Blake’s occasional witty hits did make me chuckle. Recommended only if you’re a fan of this author, or a true fan of British mysteries. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
