THE WILD BLUE YONDER: Songs of the Air Force. This is a set of two books, Volume I and Volume II, containing songs for and about flying & aviators. The second volume in the set, referred to as the "Stage Bar Edition," contains the bawdier songs concocted by the American fighting man. General Jimmy Doolittle writes the introduction for Volume I, while General Robin Olds introduces Volume II. There are 33 plus selections penned by Dick Jones, songwriter of Vietnam war fame.
