Crowned and Dangeroud 4 Stars When Darcy O'Mara's father is arrested for murder, Georgie must use all of her sleuthing skills to prove his innocence or her future with Darcy will end before it even begins. The case, as always, it pretty straightforward, and there is never any doubt that Georgie and her friends will uncover the truth. The real highlight is the focus on Darcy's background and family. There are some wonderful moments with is quirky relatives and grouchy father. Moreover, the true depth of his feelings for Georgie really comes to the fore. For her part, Georgie demonstrates not only her intelligence and resourcefulness, but also her ingrained sense of loyalty to those she cares about. Overall, a light and enjoyable read, and Queenie steals the show once again. Darcy and Georgie are racing off to elope when Darcy sees the news that his father has been accused of murder. Darcy sends Georgie back to London while he sets off for Ireland. However, when the scandal leads him to break off with Georgie, she opts instead to go help. Throw in a flying princess, and the eclectic team can't help but uncover the truth while Queenie as finds a new niche for herself. Georgie and Darcy head away from London with hopes of eloping, but Darcy’s father throws a block to the couple’s thoughts of romance. Also, Georgie must receive approval from the King & Queen & Parliament in order to marry a Catholic and to renounce her royal standing. Darcy’s father has been arrested for the murder of the rich American who bought O’Mara’s Irish castle, so Darcy rushes to his father’s defense and withdraws his engagement to Georgie. The Royal Spyness is fun and frivolous in the hatred of everyone for Wallis Simpson, every novel that mentions Wallis turns to hatred. HTML:Lady Georgiana Rannoch knows nothing is simple when you’re thirty-fifth in line for the British crown, but her upcoming marriage proves to be the ultimate complication in the tenth mystery in the New York Times bestselling Royal Spyness series. As Lady Georgiana's beloved Darcy drives her out of London, she soon discovers that he isn’t planning to introduce her to the pleasures of sinning in secret—as she had hoped—but to make her his wife! Of course, she'll need special permission from the king to marry a Roman Catholic. Though he will inherit a title, Darcy is as broke as Georgie. Even his family’s Irish castle has been sold to a rich American who now employs his father. Nothing will deter them from their mission—except perhaps the news that Georgie's future father-in-law has just been arrested for murdering the rich American. With the elopement postponed, they head for Ireland, where the suspect insists he’s innocent, and it’s up to them to prove it—for better or worse. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
