Finished reading this series with my daughter (10) Olivia-Grace. She loved them. Loved the Dr. Aphra character (comparing her to my other daughter, [8] Lily - and amazingly pretty aptly so). She loves that there's an evil version of R2/C3PO but that they are basically mirrors to how good R2 and 3PO are.

This was a pretty good wrap-up issue to the other 5 volumes. Tied things in nicely with the reveal at the end and how Vader reacts to it, some nice setup work for ESB and ROTJ.

The Calamari on General Grievous's cyborg was pretty ridiculous though, and thats pretty much the biggest detraction from the entire thing. It honestly resembles a Goldfish head on a walking robot body. (And for some reason I feel like I've seen this somewhere else in pop-culture, but not sure where.) ( )
