I enjoyed this story but really loved learning about the beautiful wolves at the wolf sanctuary there in Aurora, Alaska. Piper Quinn if fighting to keep her wolf sanctuary up and running. It isn't easy when reporter Ethan Hale arrives to write about her sanctuary and instead writes about the dangers of these wolves in the community. This will begin a battle between Piper and Ethan as she tries to convince him of the value of her sanctuary, and you begin to see and understand these animals. Both Piper and Ethan have things in their past they need to deal with, and they also have strong feelings for each other that neither one wants to open up and share with one another. But when tragedy strikes they will find refuge in each other. I liked the romance in the story, but also loved the things I learned about these wolves that needed rescuing. Piper Quinn is fighting for the future of her wolf sanctuary. A painful childhood has taught her to be more comfortable with animals than humans--especially the beautiful wolves of Aurora, Alaska. So when reporter Ethan Hale arrives to cover her struggling shelter--and deems the wolves a danger to the community--she's ready to prove him wrong. A former park ranger, Ethan's seen just enough tragedy to support his claim. Soon their difference of opinion is front-page news. And Piper and Ethan must reconcile their opposing views with their stubborn hearts that are quickly finding refuge in each other. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
