This is a rewriting, with changes, of Wuthering Heights. I never liked Wuthering Heights. In my opinion, this is much better.

The story is told from the viewpoint of Nelly Dean, the housekeeper, who is much changed from the original, and a very likeable character. The writing is at a high level, not, for instance like one of those horrible Jane Austen rewrites. This book would stand on its own easily. ( )
