( ) This book is a collection of poems about bunnies and different animals. I, personally, found this book very repetitive and did not feel that it had much substance. I think it would be very hard to teach a lesson on poetry if the poem consists of the same two lines repeated over and over. Some of the poems were rhyming, and I felt that the author included unnecessary things just for the sake of rhyming. The illustrations were great, but I do not think this is a very good book in terms of poetry. Illustrations: acrylic. This book is a collection of five poems about rabbits. The author captures the simple eloquence of the natural world and illuminates bunnies playing. Each poem is about something different that bunnies do and how they interact, but they're all connected in some way. It is just a lighthearted story about how bunnies play and live their everyday life. This book is poetry because the author uses each poem to create a vivid image in the reader's minds and it appropriately tells us a story. Age appropriateness: primary, intermediate Nibble Nibble, Poems for Children by Margaret Wise Brown Audio version so I am not seeing the colorful pictures. Poems of bugs and their song during the day and nights. Follows the trail as the bug crawls up the blade of grass or a leaf. Particularly liked the firefly and lobster poems. Some silly songs and you can just picture what is going on in your mind. I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device). Readers take a look at life deep in the green stemmed wold, the darkness of the sea, the animals view, and a particular moment in time. Margaret Wise Brown sensitively writes twenty-five poems in a rhythmic pattern; telling about the life of plants and animals. The format includes life in the change of the seasons. The collection of poems can inspire the young reader to learn the format and rhythm of poetry as they carefully look at the world around them. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
