The younger sister is dismayed when the lead role in the dance recital is given to her older sister instead. However, they both end up getting sick and can't participate. In the end they get together with their friends and happily put on a private performance for their supportive families. The illustrations are as warm and comforting as the story. ( ) This was a cute book about two friends who wanted to become great dancers. When they are chosen to be only flowers for their recital, they get a little discourage. They never give up, though, they practice their moves everyday. When one of the girls becomes too sick to dance at the recital, she feels discouraged. At the end of the book, the two friends end up having their own recital for their family members, and they feel very happy. I also like this book because it is very diverse. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
