I found the final book in the Confessions series to be quite disappointing. Overall, the series really should have stopped after the first book. It just seemed like the following three books were added after the first one became so successful. I really enjoyed the character of Tandy, but she was touted in the series as a brilliant sleuth, but was underdeveloped in that capacity. Reasons for the actions of the characters and clues to events were dropped into the readers' laps without any foreshadowing or background to make them believable. Motivations were left unclear which left this reader feeling cheated. The characters in these stories and the plot lines had so much potential left unexplored. The series could have been so much more, but after the first book, it seemed as though the authors didn't know where to take the stories, so they devised quick endings that were sophomoric in nature. I'm truly sorry now that I read the entire series and didn't stop after the first book. ( )

Very quick to read, interesting and sets a strong pace from the get go. A great way to end an intriguing series. ( )

I read the whole series and was expecting more in this conclusion. It ties up most ends nicely except what happened with James and how he ended up with C.P.. Overall a good YA series. ( )

I was disappointed in Patterson because there were a lot of plot holes, unanswered questions, the characters were too one dimensional, you just couldn't invest in them, and it ends abruptly leaving you incredibly irritated so make sure you have all 4 books in the series so hopefully you won't feel like you wasted your time. ( )
