Each night his mother or father tell him an extraordinary story about a miracle that happens and he always asked "Really?" After 8 nights of stories, his grandma Karen ends with a story about a little boy that was the best candle lighter ever. He says really? and she says yes because she is referring to him. Owen is celebrating Hanukkah! He was finally chosen to light the menorah candles every night, and with each night he lit a candle he was treated to an amazing story by his grandma. These stories came to be clear that they were real stories involving his family. (except for the one about the alien, probably). This book provides information on holidays that people may not be aware of. It especially brings light to the fact that not everyone celebrates Christmas, etc. The back of the book provides factual information on the religion, and how Jews had to fight for the right of their religion. It also provides a glossary to explain all the important aspects of Judaism, to help with further understanding that not all readers may have. This particular book would be especially appropriate around late December. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
