Laura enlists the help of his dad's old boss and is trying to become friends with the cute new boy in the area, Joe. So much going on and as the woods become more frightening will Laura be able to figure out exactly what's going on in the woods? With her father? Will Joe come to her birthday party? You'll have to read to find out.
Overall, this is one of the better Nightmare Room books. It's got a couple of the signature Twilight Zone-esque twists, there's actually a bit of atmosphere and well, with suspension of belief, the events are actually scary. I give it four stars. They Call Me Creature is a solid horror story that delivers chills! ( )
