Another ultimate sticker collection for my sticker-loving children. As with previous books in the series, this one is based on a popular Lego franchise, the LEGO Ninjago set. The mystical ninjas who fight evil are described, along with their enemies, the skeleton armies and the five snakes tribes. Stickers feature the characters, their weapons, and special buildings and vehicles. As in all of the Ultimate Sticker Collection books, children are encouraged to find the particular sticker to match the text description and sticker outline, but have plenty of extra stickers left over for creative play. However, this book does not have any free pages, those pages that are simple illustrations where children are invited to create their own scene with stickers, which is disappointing. We like the combination of controlled and imaginative sticker uses. Nonetheless, the book is still a stand out in terms of typical sticker book formats, and the stickers and illustrations and page layouts all possess the high production values I expect from a DK title. This is a good purchase for young fans of Ninjago who appreciate stickers. ( )
