This book brought so many squeals of delight, although my daughter was confused why we were squishing the spiders. She's a huge bug fan.

I also had the immense pleasure of hosting Bethany Barton for an author visit at my school, and WOW she is so cool. We are so grateful for her time, and will always think fondly of the toilet paper canon. (

This is a cute book that gives a lot of good facts about spiders. It tells us why we need to "love" spiders and what they do to benefit us. This book is a great book to read in a science classroom especially if you are teaching a lesson on arachnids or even the food chain. This book would be a great one to get the lesson started. (
