I is also wondering why the author is finding it necessary to be writings like this. Is not childrens deserving good grammar? Is childrens not findings it as tiresome as I is? Pig has found a diary and is gleefully using it, mostly to praise his delicious slops, and talk about his brainy friend duck, the affectionate farmer who lovingly calls him sausage (proof enough that duck’s warnings are for naught), and the evil chickens. When duck finally succeeds in getting pig to understand that the farmer really intends to eat him, pig agrees to have the evil chickens launch him in a pig fart-powered rocket bound for Pluto. Surprisingly, things do not go as planned, but with duck ingenuity and a steady supply of pig farts, anything is possible. So... not my cup of tea. However, neither is Captain Underpants, who is perennially challenged in libraries, and generally beloved by boys of a certain age. A friend of mine declared recently that her twin boys would have flatly refused to read without Captain Underpants, so for that reason alone she is a fan. The literary toilet humor world certainly has a place for pig and his sequels. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

"Pig is troubled. Usually, life on the Farm is pretty good. He has yummy slops, a true friend in Duck, mud to roll in, and Farmer to scratch his back and call him Roast Pig (his special nickname). But the Evil Chickens are up to something evil, involving a tractor-rocket."--Publisher. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
