It was a sweet holiday (valentine, as the title suggests) story, that had enough twists and turns and mysteries in it to keep me turning the pages. Except for prior commitments I had made, I did not put the book down until I had finished it. The situations were unique...a florist who does not like the biggest season of her year? A partner who does not arrange flowers? That in itself would have been enough for me to pick up the book. Enter a handsome young man with a secret to hide. Trust issues abound. Then, there was the matter of the author. Kimberly Rose is a favorite Heartsongs author of mine. The cover picture of the cute flower shop was perfect. The main characters grew in maturity during the season, and it was great how all the loose ends came together in the end. There were lots of people involved and I would love to see any one or all of them featured in their own book. Thank you to the author, Kimberly Rose Johnson for the opportunity to read this book. I was given a free book in exchange for an honest review. A positive critique was not required. The opinions are my own. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The musical theme within this book especially appealed to me. Music has a way of connecting hearts to each other, and connecting our hearts to the Lord in worship. When our focus is on Him, the rest of our lives have a way of falling into place.
You will find real-to-life characters, a love of family, a bit of the ugliness that sometimes presents itself in our world, and a heart that learns to trust and love again, all beautifully blended to make an engaging story. You will find this book to be a quick, easy read that flows as beautifully as a favorite melody.
