"When a little chick pops out of his shell, his mother is there to help him as he sets out to discover his world. When he tries to imitate a rooster, the newly-hatched chick falls in a puddle." -- Scholastic, Inc. "An ingenious barnyard story, brief but well-paced, simple but colorful." --Booklist. "The bright pictures and the wealth of animal sounds and actions make it a natural for the very youngest." --School Library Journal. I did not like this book that much. The storyline for the story was dry. It was very short and did not have much action in it. The book just showed how the baby chick was learning things from its mom. Even though the story was dry, it gave a good message at the end. You learn a lot from your parents and you need to use them to help you learn about the world. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
