Once, Aumaleigh McPhee and Gabriel Daniels were as in love as any two people could be. They planned to wed, but Aumaleigh's spiteful mother and her own self doubts convinced her to call things off. Nearly 30 years later, Gabriel is back in town. Although he moved on, married and had a family, he never forgot Aumaleigh and the love they shared. Despite the hurt feelings and heart break they both feel, Aumaleigh and Gabriel can't resist the force that is pulling them together. Is it too late for love, or can Aumaleigh McPhee finally find the happily ever after that she thought she had lost? No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

Finally we get to find out all of Aumaleigh's story not just bits and pieces. We have heard all throughout the series how badly Aumaleigh was treated by her mother, but in this story we find the true extent of it. I enjoyed this story, and would recommend it to historical romance readers but I do have a major complaint about this story. This book was supposed to be the end of the series. Another reviewer said that it wrapped up the stories of the sisters and was a fulfilling conclusion. I STRONGLY DISAGREE with that. Magnolia’s story was not finished! She hasn’t gotten married YET! How can that be wrapping up and a fulfilling conclusion? Another customer commented on the cover and I agree with her assessment. The couple on the cover is too young to represent Aumaleigh. She looks as young or younger that the sisters did on their covers. And, I’m not positive but I don’t think the dress she has on is in the style of the era of the story either. (I don’t know how much control Jill has over the covers on her books but it is evident that whoever did the cover didn’t read the book. I will say that I am happy that Aumaleigh finally had something good happen to her, she deserved it.
