I didn't understand the beginning because the title says "How do Dinosaurs STAY SAFE" and they started by talking about things that didn't really keep them safe, but about halfway through they transitioned to things that help keep them safe. This is such a fun and entertaining way to teach kids to listen to Mom and Dad about the basics in order for them to stay out of harm's way! Will definitely be reading this to my children! ( ) How Do Dinosaurs Stay Safe? is a book that focuses on a handful of safety topics that are applicable to children (wearing a helmet while riding a bike, running with scissors, climbing on furniture, etc). The illustrations are colorful, silly and clearly demonstrate all of the wrong things to do, and children LOVE to correct them. This is a great read aloud. The vocabulary is simple and short enough to read multiple times. How Do Dinosaurs Stay Safe? would be a great conversation starter for home safety. Activities could include kids thinking of additional safety tips, inferring, or discussing synonyms/antonyms. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

"Los padres siempre quieren que los pequeños dinosaurios se cuiden de los peligros, y por eso les enseñan cómo cruzar la calle, cómo responderles a personas extrañas y cómo llamar a un número de emergencia. En este divertido libro, los dinosaurios dejan de hacer travesuras y prestan atención."--Back cover. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
