Missing Persons Investigator Lexie Reilly is traveling on a ferry boat to Newfoundland, searching for a missing girl (Maria) after she received a tip on where Maria could be. I really enjoyed this book. I liked the setting on the boat, sailing through the icy water. Lexie was a feisty heroine. She and Shaun made a good couple and team. This was an exciting read with plenty of action and an interesting backdrop, on the ferry. ( )

Winning a free copy of Fatal Freeze by Michelle Karl from a Goodreads contest, provided an interesting read. Although starting off with a lack of voice, and a little hard to get into, Fatal Freeze provides an interesting mystery that at the end is a little predictable yet worth the read. ( )
