Review: I really disliked this book. Though the story was somewhat original, the language with which it was written was not; it was very boring, with no juicy adjectives or verbs to spice things up. What could have been a very exciting story turned out to be rather dull, and in my opinion, it dragged on far too long after the plot's resolution (I really didn't need or want to know all the details of the party held in Tim's honor after the success of the rescue mission). Not only that, but the sentences were often abruptly broken off on one page, and continued on the next for no apparent reason. Though the illustrations were nice, only half of the pages were in color; the rest were black-and-white, which made the already choppy story seem even more so. Besides (only somewhat original) storyline, there is not much to redeem this book, at least in my eyes.
Central Idea of Tim Mouse: Someone small need not fear those who are bigger if he or she is clever. ( )
