My little brother loved this book; he always calls himself a big boy. I found it cute how the little boy mom made him feel much like a big boy. My little brother screamed the whole time,"I am a big boy sister." I believed it was very cute. ( ) Billy uses his imagination to picture himself as the biggest boy around. He'd be taller than a house and even have to drink from the lakes. However, right now, Billy is exactly the size he is supposed to be. Billy climbs into bed like a big boy and holds his hand up to the moon. He says to himself, "I really am the biggest boy", and dreams of what it would be like. When we are young, we often think about a time when we won't be so little anymore. Life goes by too fast to be in a hurry to grow up. In my opinion, life is best when little. Billy will be the biggest boy around one day, but right now, he is just the age he is supposed to be. I am drawn to books illustrated by Nancy Tafuri, because of the grand scale and motion she uses to keep the story simple, memorable, and in motion. The author Kevin Henkes makes the story timeless and a fun read for children and adults. My son and I really enjoyed this book and plan to read it again and again! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
