Pinkalicious can't wait to go to ballet class with her best friend, Alison, but things take a turn when there's a mix-up and Pinkalicious ends up in the big kids' class. Join Pinkalicious as she navigates a big kid class then eventually finds Alison but not before she learns that she is a great spinner. Any Pinkalicous fan will love this latest edition to the Pinkalicous series of books. This level one easy reader is K-1 reading level. ( ) Pinkalicious is about to start ballet with her friend Allison but things go awry quickly when she walks into the advanced classroom instead of beginners! This book is an okay addition to the Pinkalicious universe of early readers. Some of the ballet terms (e.g., barre, plie) are a little advanced for the youngest readers, but overall the book is appropriately challenging for children in the lower elementary grades. The illustrations are fairly basic but can be a little helpful for young readers trying to decipher the text. The thin plot doesn't do much for me; the book just seems to be an amalgamation of things little girls are "supposed" to like (e.g., pink, tutus, ballet) with little by way of story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
