Danielle Steel's foray into the Children's Lit genre is welcome. WIth her experience, she has written a very sensitive yet interesting story about a little girl and her Chihuaha. The story is set in Paris and Steel uses this fact to tell us a lot about the Paris scene. There is also some excitement when Minnie wanders off. WIll she be found? Read and find out; it's well worth it. Also just in time to welcome "Pretty Minnie in Hollywood." ( )

The child version of myself would love this book. The adult version of myself just really likes the illustrations. However, there are some opportunities for education with the French names, locations, and the fact that fashion is a big part of French culture. ( )
