This book was some what interesting but not because of the way the book was written, but because of the way that it confused me. It was about a girl and her family who go on a trip to an old Native American village, with many different houses and structures still in place. The little girl is entranced with the place and is having a great time. Overall, I think this book is less about the story and more about the illustrations which are amazing. The use of detail and dark red and oranges that the illustrator used are awesome and truly jump off the page. Overall, this book was ok, but it was visually superb. ( )
