Miss Hazeltine has opened up her home to timid cats.. She gives them lessons to help them learn how to cat. One day, the cats must put all of their training to the test.

Miss Hazeltine opens her home to all the shy and scaredy cats no one seems to want. The cats who run from mice, won't purr or are generally afraid of everything. Miss Hazeltine works very hard to teach the cats how to climb and pounce and not to fear The Broom. As she's away from home one day, she has an accident and can't get home to the cats. So the scaredest cat of the group leads a rescue mission and Miss Hazeltine is quite proud of her little felines. This story is perfect for the painfully shy and afraid-of-everything child. An extremely lovely book with incredible illustrations. So glad this was recommended to me today at the library where I work. Can't wait to get my own copy! A must for all lovers of cats. ( )

What a cute story to each kids about fear and shyness. Loved the illustrations and bravo to Crumb who overcame his fears to save the day and Miss Hazeltine.
