I received a copy of this book from the author via IndiGo Marketing and Design in exchange for an honest review This was a very short story that started out heartbreaking and frustrating and ended out sweet and satisfying. Ian is a workaholic who seems to take his husband for granted and eventually (unknowingly) pulls away from him after their son (Bobby) goes away to college. Travis is his stay at home husband who took care of the family and feels lost and alone after Bobby goes away and his husband seems to be more distant. They separate for 2 years, but finally come together again after Bobby begs Ian to visit Travis. Ian finally gets his eyes opened and finds out why Travis left. He vows to support Travis and change his ways because he loves him and doesn't want to live without him anymore. The guys have some trust issues to get around in order for their relationship to get back to a good place, but eventually they find a way to be back together. I was glad to read a book that featured older MC's and the idea of losing their way after so many years. It is a common theme in real life, but to read about it and to see a happy ending come from it was very refreshing. I enjoyed reading this very much. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

All in all, in spite of a neat writing and of emotional moments well achieved, at no time I believed the story, is not enough the stereotype about the roles of every one in family life to give it root, I find contradictive the characterization of the protagonists and the incidents that trigger the conflict.
It's time to stop me for a while with this author. I have read three of her books in a row and no one has satisfied me. I have a few more books from her, I'll read them later on. ( )
