Dr. G needs lots of help to find and eliminate the email ring kidnapping young people as a source of body parts and human targets. Some of the help comes to her and others are recruited for this tense countdown of activities to prevent the next set of online auctions. Jenny continues to expand her levels of contact to include a dog and a teenager seeking "how to find a girlfriend". A very good addition to this excellent series. ( ) Forged masterpieces. Kidnapped students. The dark net. Genevieve Lenard works in Strasbourg, France as a data analyst for a high-end art insurance company. She is a high-functioning autistic though she generally describes herself as having a non-typical neural brain. She has studied psychology and is a renowned body language expert. She has become involved with Interpol and analyzing data and determining body language. Colin Frey is an art thief turned Interpol art locator. His friend Vinnie acts as Jenny’s bodyguard. Their friend Francine is a computer hacker/security specialist for several governments. Through Phillip Rosseau her employer she also works with Manny Millard also of Interpol, though he does not know that Colin is with Interpol, and calls him and Vinnie criminals. These 5 people have united to solve art crimes. Still looking for Dukwicz, the assassin for hire, the team creates and email that they hope will draw him out. While searching Dukwicz’s computer that Francine has gained access to by a virus in the email they sent, they find a video of a young man being auctioned off for his body parts. Human trafficking, the art world and law enforcement are the major themes to this story. Estelle Ryan adds additional characters to plot and action, each is well-developed and interesting to meet. I found this book even more suspenseful than the last, a race against time to save kidnapped students. This is the 5th Genieve Lenard book and my least favorite of the series. The crimes are gettting more and more gruesome in each book. This one starts out with the forged artwork but then moves into the search for missing teenagers who are being kidnapped and sold on the dark web for body organs in an auction and sick hunt game. I find the characters very interesting but this sadistic/psycho element is not for me. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

"Nonverbal communications expert Doctor Genevieve Lenard's search for an international assassin is rudely interrupted by an autistic teenager who claims that forged masterpieces are being sold on the dark net--a secret internet few know exists. The resulting probe uncovers an underground marketplace offering much more sinister products and services. Including murder. An official investigation into one of her team members and the discovery of dozens of missing students across Europe adds immense pressure on Genevieve to find out if one person is masterminding these seemingly unrelated cases. What starts out as a search for illegal art sales soon turns into a desperate hunt for clues to uncover the conspiracy to destroy her team member and murder more students. Timing becomes even more crucial when someone close to her disappears and the assassin she's been looking for is the key to preventing another senseless death."--Page [4] of cover.
