When her parents adopt a baby wolf, Dot can't seem to persuade them that it is just going to eat them. But when wolfie is threatened, can the big sister come to the rescue? Dot’s pretty salty about the new interloper in the family, but in the end discovers something common to most big sisters: He might be a wolf in bunny clothing, but he’s still YOUR wolf in bunny clothing. Loved Dot’s sass, and her voice was fun to read aloud. Not a huge fan of the illustrations, though. Hardcover, borrowed from my public library The story time kids loved this one. The peril grows on each page as the one little bunny does everything she can to get others to see that a bunny family adopting a wolf is a bad idea. The end has a fun twist that the kids and their parents enjoyed. The words are simple and fun. We had fun predicting what was going to happen next and sympathizing with the little bunny. The pictures were bright and clever. children's picture book. I read this aloud to a group of K-3rd graders and it went OK, though not as great as The Book With No Pictures. I think the colorful, engaging illustrations and funny text would do much better with a smaller group so they could all see the pictures (the assembly set up this morning was admittedly not ideal). I think I read this to 1st-6th graders before but was able to walk down the aisles between tables so they had a better view; I think it went pretty well that time. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
