Bob Shea and Lane Smith are a powerful combination and this book in no way disappoints! Wonderful, complex, illustrations, and a really hilarious sense of humor that should appeal to all dinosaur loving, smart-aleck readers. best line: Give him a minute. ( ) Genre: Modern Fantasy Age Appropriateness: Primary Media: Unknown Review/Critique: Kid Sheriff came into the town of Drywater Gulch where he helped catch robbers! The people in the town thought that the robbers were toads, but the whole time kid sheriff said the culprits were dinosaurs. This made the toads angry because they wanted to receive credit for their robberies. They were so furious that they went into the jail to see the dinosaurs that were receiving credit, but just as they went in, kid sheriff locked the toads in the jail. Kid Sheriff had tricked the toads, and now they were caught! This is good modern fantasy because the book flows in a way that makes sense. The author made sure that specific details were followed throughout the whole book. The characters definitely follow a fantasy description. First of all toads can not be robbers, a kid won't be a sheriff, and dinosaurs are no longer alive, but the characters are great for fantasy because they have personalities that are realistic. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
