The Way Science Works published 2002 with ISBN: 0-7894-8562-1 is topically organized. It is collection of conceptual information, diagrams, and experiments organized into categories such as "Light and Color", "Forces and Energy", "Electricity and Magnetism" etc. This book could be a useful supplementary text to reference after a lesson on a particular subject and have the students read the section as a review or as an alternative way to view the material. Also the experiments the book provides can be adapted for use in the classroom ( ) This book would be useful for supplementing a physical science class. Each concept gets a two page spread with information describing the topic, illustrations, some history, and often a simple experiment. The text is fairly easy to understand and would be appropriate for younger children - but it is also interesting enough to hold the attention of older children as well. I would recommend this book for ages 10+. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
