Walden always writes something special, she knows no taboos, she thinks out of the box and she does it this time too with 2 separate topics who are deftly weaved together, or so was the plan. This story starts with the classic boy meets girl, but here girl has OCD. I really liked the concept that she included OCD and we get to really know someone who has it. It’s interesting. Only the way she is helped by her boyfriend wasn’t something I really liked. He is this sweet, understanding guy, a real gentleman like you don’t have them anymore, and then bam suddenly he’s into bdsm. I understand what the author’s motive was, Reece was trying to help Bailey to let go that way but it just didn’t feel ok. Bailey says that she likes it because she feels free that way from OCD and all but it still feels like she doesn’t really like it. I didn't like it either. She kind of missed the ball there. He falls in love with Bailey just as she is-quirks and all-and she, in turn, opens her life to him. His love seems to change her-to help her better manage her OCD. But when tragedy strikes, she is consumed by the destructive nature of her condition. Reece sees the ugly side, and he's left with a choice: stay or run.
