Cozy, comfortable, words are lovingly laid out for the sake of appreciation. The title is perfectly chosen. ( ) 2804 Wordstruck A Memoir, by Robert MacNeil (read 26 Nov 1995) This memoir has many good things in it. The author was born in Canada about 1930, and reading was a big part of his parents' and his life. He talks well of poetry and books, though the book bounces around some and does not tell a chronological story of his interesting life as a student, radio announcer, actor. He speaks great things on memorizing poetry, on T. S. Eliot, and Dylan Thomas and Shakespeare, especially Hamlet, Othello, and Henry V, quoting at length Henry V's St. Crispin's day speech. A fine book to read! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
