You have to read that one first as this is part 2. All I can say is it had me on the edge of my seat all weekend! Loved it! Only rated it amazing as I love all the Alex Cross books and this one tops them all! ( ) Hope to Die picks up where Cross My Heart ended (I only got the title tie-in now), with Alex Cross falling apart because his family has been kidnapped. Then some mutilated bodies are found with their possessions, nearly pushing Alex over the edge. Ava returns to help, and a Baltimore detective jumps in too. Some excellent supportng characters: Atticus Jones and his daughter. Between John Sampson, his FBI friends, his tenacity and Ava's creativity, Alex is able to discover the identity of the man torturing him. 3.5 stars. This is just too f-ing stupid. I can't even laugh at its cliched absurdity. I didn't realise when I started reading this that it was a series. This is 21 books I don't have to bother with then. I've read worse books but this doesn't even have any redeeming qualities that would keep me reading, It's just worthless, meaningless pulp. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
