Read it a few months ago and picked it up again cause I hadn't reviewed it on fabulous goodreads. Just as brilliant as the first time! I heart Davey something fierce. So much love in this book it just oozes out. Have already recommended to friends and highly recommend it to people who want a fantastic story that's real, full of love, and yes even a dumbass main character who is able to redeem himself. Can't wait to to read more by Boehme. Fingers crossed their as good as this is! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: Raised in near seclusion by an agoraphobic mother, Davy Cooper's social skills are almost nonexistent. Now that his mother has died, he needs to make friends for the first time in his life. He catches Gavin Walker's eye, but the sexy, confident, bad boy hipster intimidates shy Davy so much that he throws away Gavin's number every time he offers it. On the surface, this is a story of two young men whose mothers failed them in different ways, coming to terms with uneven attraction, the cracking of the masks they've built to weather life, and one shock after another threatening one or both of them. Under that, this is a story of the weight of grief, and the power love offers to ease emotional wounds both old and new. It is also a story of quiet heroism, and that always appeals strongly to me.
