I realized that I need to use this one! Children learn so so much with books like these--or so I have found. I don't want to be hit over the head with facts but "Mama Built a Little Nest" does it in a subtle way. So be prepared to learn about all the different types of nests different birds make. Some are made from spit. LOL Mama built a Little Nest is a book a bout birds’ nest, in the baby bird’s point of view. The book tells the reader facts about how the nest is made and different variations of nests. For example, a nest can be in numerous locations: in a tree, underground, on water, in a web, or in a whole. It can be a good bedtime story because at the end there is a scene in a bedroom with stuffed animals on the bed and the last line in the poem is a comforting line saying how an analogy is a nest to a bed. I didn’t really enjoy this because it wasn’t that interesting but It was good for a children's book for kids who like nature and going to sleep in a bed. I did think that the fact that it rhymed made it 10x better. I would recommend this book for kids who like nature and I’d suggest reading this for a bedtime story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
