"The Noisy Way to Bed" was actually a pretty funny book about a little boy who was outside playing just before bed time. As he was walking back to his house he picked up several animal friends along the way. He picks up a duck, a sheep, a pig and a horse. Eventually they all make it home where the book ends by the narrator saying, "what a noisy way to go to bed".

The little boy wants to go to bed, but all animals won't let him get to bed. They just keep saying "well, you can come along."Their sound are noisy including "neigh1", "oink!", "boa!", and "quack!", but the boy decides to sleep.
