The story is told in short chapters, and jumps around in time and in voice. It's main focus is on the FLQ members and sympathisers, with not much said about the political decisions made in Ottawa and Quebec City. I was sometimes confused, and reverted to the list of characters provided at the front of the book several times. But I am glad I stuck with it as the story drew me in ever deeper. Fascinating, plausible...it brings a different perspective to the events of October, 1970. (
