Well written and the conversational style make it an easy read.
My goal was to dig beneath the hype, and this book does that perfectly.
Gave a solid grounding of big data concepts and theories.
Relevant examples were used to explain techniques, but some of the stats/math terminology was over my head.

It will serve as my big data reference book.

An ok general introduction to data science. The whole thing could have been condescend to about 100 pages, but i suppose i'm not the prime audience ( )
