As a homeschooling mother of four, I appreciate the opportunity to review books for children, tweens, and teens alike. So when I had the opportunity to review this children’s book, I was glad to participate. The pictures and text in this book provide the perfect balance to grab your attention without becoming too busy.

This book combines Biblical truths with examples of how Christians should act. It is the perfect book for parents to read with their young children or for slightly older ones to read by themselves.

The illustrations provide the perfect connection to the words on the pages. They are engaging with muted colors that still jump off the pages. So if you are looking for a wonderful Christian picture book for children in your life check out this book for yourself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own. ( )

How many times have you told your child, or perhaps your Sunday School class, about having a home in Heaven one day? This can be a hard concept for younger children to understand but author Donna Wyland has written an excellent explanation. Your Home in Heaven is dedicated to showing how special a Heavenly home will be, and how, by practicing the Fruits of the Spirit, we all can have such a home!

Filled with bright, colorful illustrations, and easy-to-understand text, Your Home in Heaven is an ideal way to teach about God, Jesus, and the Fruits of the Spirit. I do, however, believe that it may be more appropriate for school-age children, because of its length. Little ones will like the pictures but their attention span may be too short for them to sit quietly through an entire reading.

Nevertheless, it is a wonderful resource and I appreciate that there are questions at the end to encourage further discussion, along with an easily understood Plan of Salvation. Your Home in Heaven is perfect for families and it is also a wonderful addition to church libraries.

I received a copy of this book from the author via Celebrate Lit. There was no obligation for a positive review and I am voluntarily sharing my opinions. ( )

I really enjoyed reading this book geared towards children about The Fruit of the Spirit. It is written in a way that is easy to understand and helps children think about how they have these gifts and how they can use them. The author also talks about heaven and what it may be like for us. The way it is described is good and helps children realize it is a place that Jesus will be there to greet them. The author emphasizes that heaven is there waiting when it is their time. I like that because it shows that they have things Jesus wants them to complete before they go home to Him.

The illustrations are very colorful and fits well with the pages. I liked how it is vivid and will get the children’s attention. I think this book would be suited starting at kindergarten age. I plan to get a copy for my granddaughter to have when is older.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion. ( )

This is a very sweet book that wants to help children know that heaven will be a wonderful place to be . This has a very nice storyline and I really enjoyed the illustrations. This is making sure that children know that heaven will be a happy place. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free wil ( )

What a great comforting book to offer your child, great descriptions along with colorful illustrations.
This little book, 62 pages, is geared to ages 4-8, and is a welcome gift in showing and telling your young one about out Christian faith.
There is fear of the unknown, and now I have a tool to share with my child, and share what they might like in their house in heaven.
Showing the gifts of the Spirit, and the rights and wrongs that need to be taught.
At the end of the book there are some questions to encourage your child.
A wonderful resource to have at your hand!
I received this book through Celebrate Lit, and was not required to give a positive review. ( )
