Christmas Valley always celebrates Christmas with the mayor playing Santa, a Nativity on Christmas Eve, but this year nothing goes according to plan. The Shepherd's Inn is full of strangers, busybody Myrtle is causing problems, but it may be just what they need. Will the community be pulled apart or brought closer together under the watchful eye of the One Who knows best?

This was an enjoyable holiday book. Although the birth of a baby by a traveling couple was predictable, the rest of the story had some surprises. I'm pretty sure I would not want to be the owner of a Bed and Breakfast Inn. Lots of spiritual input. I think this was the first novel I've read that used "The Message" for scripture quotations. ( )
