Joining their grandpa on a tour of the Bubble Factory, a pair of mischievous twins get into "bubble trouble" in the Bubble Boutique, Bubble Bathery, and Bubble Gummery. I really like this book. One thing I really liked were the illustrations. The Bubble Factory seems like a very friendly, colorful place, and the bubbles themselves cover all the colors of the rainbow. Another thing I liked about this book was the story line. The children do not follow directions and play with the bubbles and the machines and end up creating "Wish Bubbles", or bubbles that grant any wish. Instead of getting in trouble with Mr. B and Grampa, Mr. B is both amazed and grateful that the twins ended up creating these bubbles because the scientists at the factory had "been trying to do that for years!" I think this shows kids that sometimes good things can come when they do not listen, though this is an exceptional case. It also shows children how science experiments can work, by demonstrating that the best results can come from accidents. The big idea of this book is about science and following directions, and that sometimes not doing what you are told can come with amazing results. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
