I haven't even read the eight previous books, but that didn't stop me from loving every sweet bit of this heart warming book. Plus this is Bella Andre ! and she hasn't yet disappointed me in delivering a hot sexy read perfectly entwined with the sweetest love story and the most endearing characters. (

This one was different from the other Sullivans in San Francisco but all in all it reminded me a lot of Ryan and Vicky's story.

Two old friends falling love after spending year apart due to a move. Rafe is wondering if he will ever believe in true love again after his work as PI leaves him find cheaters all of the time and has even left him injured because of it. Brooke is just trying to figure out how to launch her business and get her parents to forget about a single mistake she made when she was sixteen.

Now how can these come across each other's path and maybe just maybe make both of their lives complete. (

While the storyline was good (a private eye and a chocolatier as the two leading parts), I was unhappy with the amount of sex and sexual descriptions, references, and even the sexual dialogue. It was just waaaay too much. I had to skim through it to see if I could be satisfied with the ending. They like each other. A LOT...I got that from the get-go, but I didn't really need the play-by-play!

I feel that it has the potential to be so much more than another sex-loaded book........

Romantic, with a well off gorgeous guy and a sexy native woman. She makes chocolate truffles and the sexual innuendoes are smoldering slowing into a inferno. He has battle scars, A PI, with a negative view on love and relationships. She has dreams of stepping out of her safe vanilla life. She also has crushed on him since she was just a girl swimming her summers away at the local lake. When he shows up out of the blue to the cabin next door to hers, sparks sparkle and bandy parts tingle. So begins the difficult taste of making believer out of him and opening her to another side of life. They travel down a predictable path, but it was fun to watch.
Quick and Dirty- Hot semi hard hearted guy meets childhood friend, they rub and need, but have issues in the way, Bam the heart wins. (
