Would have been more stars but for 2 unforgivable plot points concerning Elizabeth Bennet and a unicorn early on. Don't mess with my favorite things, man.
Otherwise, the supernatural mystery and the stint in Hades were quite good, and I'm really curious to see how a crossover book with Fables will go. ( )

Finally we're back where the action is! Tommy has reconcilled with his vampiric BFF, and is starting to really weild his power (if in a subtle way). He uses the power of story to cross into the Underworld in an attempt to rescue his lady love (barf), but I quite liked how Carey turns the myth of Orpheus on its head. Tmmy is the one who makes a deal with the (current) Lord of Hades, but he words it so that everyone but him can escape. Being cast back into the depths of Hades is only the beginning though, since he needs to learn more about the worlds which make up Leviathan - and the bottom is the place to begin. ( )

This is my absolute favorite graphic novel series. I love the way the authors play with words and stories and the meanings of stories and how they affect our lives. And what twists and turns were in this volume. If you're a lover of books, I recommend you pick up this graphic novel series. You'll love them. ( )

This is one of the most fairly balanced of the series, well-written, standing on its own legs as some accuse the series of loaning too much from epic tales of the past, but then again, which writer hasn't? Fuck that. And yes, I love the rabbit. ( )
