Another guy likes her (actor or not) and it makes her disillusioned about her own relationship? But she doesn't end said relationship. She self-sabotages "subconsciously" to give her an excuse to cheat (which is ridiculous anyway.) I just couldn't like Sophie and it made it rather difficult to see why either of the men were the least bit interested in her to begin with.
