Why so much world building and back stories still? This is from Delaney's Q&A website "I prefer to "discover" the plot rather than work it out in detail far in advance." I think we are seeing the repercussions of this writing style. I'm starting to think I don't like series, not necessarily this series but series in general. 13 books plus sides... maybe that is just too much. ... I don't know I guess I'm still working out how I feel. Why am I disappointed?
